FLASH GORDON IN THE WATER WORLD OF MONGO.  
Racine WI: Whitman Publishing (Copyright 1936, 1937) in conjunction with NY: King Features Syndicate Inc.  A BIG LITTLE BOOK #1407. Measures approximately 4"x5"x2.5". 424 Pages + Ads. Profusely illustrated. Spine is Good but has come unglued near middle of book causing binding looseness and separation of the book into 2 separate tight pieces as per photos. The pages are Good+/Very Good but have general age-toning. The first page has been creased slightly. As mentioned above, the binding area between pages 170 and 171 has come unglued from the spine creating two nearly-equal page sections of otherwise tight pages.  There are slight cover bumps and rubbing but no sizeable rips or marks and no missing pages. All text is clearly legible. There is a very small (appx. 1"x1/4") former price written on 1st blank page, apparently in black crayon.  [NOTE: The re-gluing or other repair to the binding looseness can be almost imperceptively achieved without an overall re-binding.  Low-cost book repair tools are found at www.ShopBrodart.com].
